We have great readers at our school! Students love to read series and sequels! We want to provide them with the next books in a series.
When a school vacation is coming up I have a good number of students who will grab 4 or 5 books to read during the vacation.
Students continuously visit the library and ask if we have the new book in a series. I continue to search for sources for new books. My students are hoping that Donors Choose can help us to get the books that they want to read. They and I would be very grateful if we can get the books on our list. We want to encourage them to read everyday. By providing our students will quality books we will support them in their education. The more they read, the better they will do in school! Their education is important to us!
Have you ever waited to see the sequel to your favorite movie? Well that is what if feels like to wait to read a sequel to a book! It gets even better when there are more than two books in a book series! Students wait months to be able to read the second, third, forth and so on in a book series.
They even inform me as to when a sequel will be published! We are helping our students to be readers, which will help them in all subjects in school. Reading and comprehension is important to all subjects. The ability to read and comprehend will aid these students in their high school and college years. They will become life-long readers!!
