Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I am continually inspired by my 3rd-grade students’ boundless energy and eagerness to learn! The “Serenity Seats” project aims to create a calming and flexible classroom environment that nurtures their individual needs. By incorporating flexible seating options like the ECR4Kids Leaf Floor Seats and Rocker Chairs, students will have the opportunity to find comfort in their learning spaces, enhancing their focus and engagement.
The Studico ActiveChairs and Wobble Stools will help channel their kinetic energy in a positive way.
Furthermore, resources such as Magnetic Building Tiles, STEM Blocks, and various sensory toys will stimulate creativity and critical thinking. The Calm Down Threading Boards will offer a mindful space where students can practice emotional regulation. Together, these resources will foster a serene and supportive learning atmosphere, allowing each child to flourish academically and socially!
