Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

This upcoming year, I will be teaching students in grades Pre-K through 5th. My students are from an inner-city in one of the five New York City boroughs.

My students come from a predominantly low socio-economic background.

Nevertheless, my students are the most hard-working, motivated, and inquisitive students you can have.

My Project

I will be a science cluster next year for students in grades PreK through 5th. My lessons will be aligned to the NYS Science Scope and Sequence. My lessons will be hands-on and project-based. Students will be needing copies for science lessons as well as notebooks for their science notes. Students will also need markers and twistable crayons to illustrate their observations. In addition, I want the tooth necklaces, because students always lose a tooth while they are in school. The necklaces would allow students to proudly keep their teeth safe until they get home from school.
