This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I like their desire to learn and explore the world around them. These materials would greatly help them improve their sensory and cognitive skills, especially my students with special needs. In my classroom, I have three children with special needs who require sensory stimulation to consolidate their knowledge.

They learn best when they can touch, see, hear, smell, and feel the learning experiences we offer them.

Children require concrete materials because at this stage of their development, their thinking is not yet abstract, and they require visual and sensory support.
