My Project

Let’s help my student regulate emotions and reducing anxiety. Sensory walls can benefit children in several ways. They can help develop sensory processing skills, improve fine motor skills, and enhance creativity and imagination. For children with sensory processing disorders or autism, sensory walls can provide a calming and organizing influence. Research has shown that sensory-based interventions, including sensory walls, can be effective in reducing problem behaviors and improving academic engagement in children with autism and other developmental disabilities. A sensory wall can be a valuable addition to a special education pre-K classroom in a low-income community, providing a rich sensory experience that promotes learning and development. By supporting diverse learning needs and enhancing learning experiences, a sensory wall can help create a more inclusive and engaging learning environment.
