Sensory Toys for Preschool Students With Disabilities

Help me give my students sensory toys that help them touch and feel.

My Project

I teach a sweet class of pre-k children with special needs, blended with typical developing children. I am requesting sensory items for my students to use when they arrive at school each day. I hope to put your donations to good use by purchasing these sensory toys to help my students get the sensory input they need during school days.

Having these different sensory toys will provide my students with the tools to help them feel calm and release their energy in a positive way.

My students love playing with different sensory toys and all other squishy toys. Meanwhile, the sensory play with these toys prompts my students' fine motor skills, language development, and social-emotional skills. They will use their fingers more during the play. The teachers or specialists who work with my students can provide more language input during the play.
