Sensory Tools for Super Students!

Help me give my students sensory and fidget tools to help them stay in class.

FULLY FUNDED! Ms. Seidel's classroom raised $305

My Project

I am writing to request the provision of sensory tools for our school, as I believe they will greatly benefit our students' learning experiences. The specific items I am requesting include fidget toys, and items for our prize box like Wooden Pattern Blocks, Stress Balls, Mini Plush Animals and more. These tools are designed to support students with sensory processing differences and help create a more inclusive learning environment for all.

Introducing these sensory tools will make a significant difference in our students' learning by addressing their individual needs.

For instance, fidget toys can help students who struggle with maintaining focus by providing them with a discreet outlet for restless energy, allowing them to concentrate better on their tasks.

Our goals for implementing these sensory tools are twofold. Firstly, we aim to create a more inclusive and supportive learning environment where all students feel valued and empowered to succeed. By providing accommodations such as sensory tools, we can better meet the diverse needs of our student population and ensure that every individual has access to the resources they need to thrive academically and socially.

Secondly, we hope to foster a greater understanding and acceptance of neurodiversity within our school community. By promoting awareness of sensory processing differences and the importance of accommodating individual learning styles, we can help reduce stigma and promote a culture of empathy and inclusion. Our students are incredibly special, each bringing their own unique strengths, talents, and challenges to the classroom. By providing them with the support and resources they need to succeed, we can help them reach their full potential and become confident, independent learners.
