My Project

Sensory tools can enhance focus and engagement, key components of SEL. By providing a physical outlet for energy or anxiety, these tools can help students concentrate better on tasks at hand. Sensory tools can assist in the learning process by helping students stay engaged, allowing them to better absorb feedback and work towards their objectives.

Sensory tools can foster empathy and understanding among peers, vital for SEL.

When students see their classmates using sensory tools, it can prompt discussions about individual needs and differences, promoting an understanding and empathetic classroom culture.

Sensory tools provide a multi-faceted support system for SEL. They offer calming stimuli, promote self-regulation, boost focus and engagement, and can even serve as a catalyst for empathy and understanding among students. By incorporating these tools into the classroom, educators can create a more inclusive, engaging, and emotionally intelligent learning environment. As we continue to strive for holistic education, the role of sensory tools in supporting SEL will only become more integral.
