This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

These calming and fidget tools selected have been hand selected by current high school teens. They believe if all of their classrooms had a sensory basket, which a student could have access to at all times, then they are more likely to stay in class and focused on the lesson.

Many young people have increased stress and anxiety, and although schools are increasing support, the goal of this project is to teach them coping skills and keep them in their classes using appropriate skills and tools to access their education.
