Help me give my students supplies that will help with their self regulation. Many of our students have emotional regulation deficits and these tools can help our students calm down so they can pay better attention in class.
Our students at SA are so special because each one has their unique strengths and difficulties. The Snap Circuits, slime, and peg board will help our students with emotional regulation throughout the school day. Additionally, they will provide interesting and engaging projects that can be used during our occupational therapy classroom groups. As an occupational therapist, I focus on helping each of our students work on areas of difficulty so they can fully access their education. These skills can include executive functioning, gross/fine motor skills, sensory processing, social communication skills, and more. These supplies will help our students to work on their areas of difficulty in both the classroom and separate OT therapy room.
