My Project

The sensory tools being requested will replenish our classroom sensory tool kit. A sensory tool kit is used for the students to help them process through their strong emotions (anger, anxiety, stress). They retrieve the sensory tools from the kit to help them self-regulate, calm down, or release access energy. It is available to maintain their focus during large groups or to transition from one activity to the next. When encountering social problems, it can help them process it. Being able to take charge of their emotions, they feel empowered which contributes to them being successful at school.
