it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Students with special needs benefit greatly from sensory toys and weighted vests in public classrooms because these tools help them regulate sensory input and improve focus. Sensory toys provide tactile and visual stimulation that can calm overstimulation and enhance learning engagement. Weighted vests offer proprioceptive feedback, which can help students feel more grounded and secure, thereby reducing anxiety and promoting better concentration. By integrating these supports, us educators create an inclusive environment that accommodates diverse sensory needs, fostering a more equitable and effective learning experience for all students.
