My Project
My elementary students are a special group of learners who bring joy, energy, and curiosity to the classroom each day. They each have unique strengths and challenges, and many benefit from extra support to help them stay focused, manage their emotions, and fully engage in learning. By providing resources such as a trampoline, flexible seating, calming toys, and engaging books, I can create a classroom environment that nurtures their individuality and helps them thrive.
These materials will give my students healthy outlets for movement and self-regulation while also fostering their academic growth.
A trampoline provides opportunities for movement breaks that help students refocus, while flexible seating allows them to choose the learning space that works best for their needs. Calming toys and activities offer strategies for managing emotions and stress, and a diverse collection of books will inspire a love of reading, build literacy skills, and give students opportunities to see themselves reflected in stories.
With these resources, my special group of students will be better equipped to learn with confidence, collaborate with their peers, and reach their fullest potential.
