This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Pre-K is a time to develop a love for learning through play. Since all of my students have special needs, I introduce their academic goals through the use of visuals, songs, and hands-on activities.

These 3,4, and 5-year-old students are fun, friendly, and enthusiastic.

Whether we are learning in whole group, small group, or one on one, our objective is to learn through fun!

My Project

The sensory materials in my classroom are old and outdated. Because this is such an important part of their learning experience, I am trying to provide them with new materials. I will be able to use these manipulates during whole group and small group instruction and let them experiment on their own in the Sensory center.

Sensory supplies will help my students by developing motor skills, support language development, and encourage scientific thinking and problem solving.

My goal for this project is to get my students excited and engaged in the sensory center.
