This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Silicone jelly blocks are a versatile and engaging material that can be used for a wide range of creative, educational, and sensory projects. One popular activity is building tall towers or structures, which helps children explore concepts like balance, stability, and structural engineering.

These blocks are also great for light and color experiment placing them on a light table or over LED lights allows students to explore color mixing, translucency, and even basic principles of refraction.

For a hands-on STEM challenge, students can test how much weight stacked blocks can hold, turning it into a fun lesson in physics and data collection. This project is not only fun but also helps develop problem-solving skills, coordination, and patience.
