This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I requested more partitions so my centers can be clearly divided. There is a small desk and chair so this can serve as a center. Then the set of bins so they can serve as more sensory bin centers. The centers include sensory bins (pluffle, colored rice), light table for tracing, sorting colorful food for colors recognition with sorting color bowls, modeling foam for fine motor, and more fine motor tools for the sensory bins as well. We also included a vacuum for easy clean up as the sensory bin fillers can get messy at times! Sensory regulation is a huge need in special education preschool and the variety of new sensory stations will help accommodate for all the high needs of my students. With these stations my students will also learn to practice transitioning from one station to the next.
