This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
These items will help students with disabilities and sensory needs access curriculum while keeping a calm and safe body. My goal for the use of these items is to meet various needs of students, and limit their time out of the general education classroom so that they are being exposed to curriculum.
The flexible seating chairs/pillows will allow students to meet their sensory needs while accessing the general education classroom in a non-disruptive way.
The fidgets will give students the opportunity to quietly move their body while still working and receiving instruction. The laminator and sheets will allow me to create visuals and materials that will last without the need to remake.
