My Project
The students I work with amaze me every day with their ability to navigate a world full of sensory explosions. They need to try and block out sensory stimulation or take in sensory stimulation while trying to complete everyday tasks like finishing school work. Wobble chairs allow students to gain sensory input while staying at their desks to complete work, reducing the amount of time they leave their work area. Participating in sensory play while on break with kinetic sand and water beads helps students to gain sensory input and remain focused when it is time for work.
