Sensory Social Emotional Learning Toys

Help me give my students sensory toys and storage containers to help students regulate behaviors and emotions.

My Project

Students in second grade are learning how to regulate and manage strong emotions, feelings, and behaviors. In my classroom, I have a calming corner that students can use if they are having big feelings or need a moment to regulate themselves.

Having sensory toys in the calming corner will help meet the needs of my students who are in need of a sensory break and a calming moment.

My classroom is comprised of students who have varying abilities, and these tools will help with our social-emotional learning curriculum. The storage bins will be used to organize these tools to help students have easy access to them as they need them.
