Sensory Sensitivity Support For Our Young Students
Help me give my students some stress relief with headphones that will allow students with sound sensitivity to focus in class, and fidget toys that will provide soothing sensory input.

My Project
Our school educates students with various developmental delays. These kiddos require multiple means to regulate big emotions. Our teachers pay to bring in fidgets, they create calming corners with their own funds. Still, there is a need for more support. As a School Social worker, I want to ensure our students have access to a variety of tools to practice emotional regulation.
Headphones are a great support for our younger students experiencing sound sensitivity.
Many are in a large school setting for the first time, the sounds can be distressing.
