Sensory Sensation!

Help me give my students weighted lap blankets, calming down threading boards, and other sensory tools.

My Project

Through an experience this year with one of my students, we found that a weighted lap pad (purchased by his parents) helped ease his fidgets and allowed him to maintain his focus. It worked tremendously well!

Looking ahead, I would like the availability to use this tool for future students.

I have several several animal-themed lap pads that I can store in my classroom and bring out for those fidgety students.

Additionally, I would like some other calming tools for periods of time when a student may just need some redirection and the opportunity to focus on calming with useful sensory tools.
