My Project
My students are so amazing! They are working on a variety of skills throughout the day, such as; academic skills, fine and gross motor skills, communication skills, social skills, and self-help skills.
The materials listed will be utlilized to create a sensory-friendly environment where my students can thrive while working on individual skills.
Many of my students have different sensory needs, and would benefit from a variety of seating options and movement activities to fulfill those needs. I would use the hammock chairs, spinning chairs, beanbag board and tunnel to create a space where students can go when they need to take sensory breaks. Students can use the ball chair when they are working at the table and need extra stimulation to sit with the group.
