This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are struggling to stay seated in the classroom and focus on learning. Many have anxiety and hyperactivity disorders and want to succeed but need additional support to make it happen.
I am requesting sensory seat cushions, a weighted blanket, and chair leg wigglers.
Will you please help my students with the supplies they need to stay seated and focused on learning? The seat cushions and chair leg wigglers will enable by students the movement outlet they need while not distracting their peers from focusing. The weighted blanket will help a student with special sensory needs.
This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
