Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

What I love most about my students is their endless curiosity, resilience, and unique ways of engaging with the world around them. Every day, they show up ready to learn, even when faced with challenges. They inspire me with their questions, their creativity, and their eagerness to grow—not just academically, but as thoughtful, compassionate individuals. I’m committed to creating a learning environment that nurtures all aspects of their development: intellectual, emotional, and physical.

Many of my students benefit from movement and flexibility throughout the day.

Traditional chairs don’t always support their posture or their need to shift and adjust as they focus. Stools and ball chairs will offer dynamic seating options that encourage core strength, better posture, and increased alertness. For students who struggle with attention or sensory processing, these choices can be transformative, giving them the freedom to move in a way that helps them stay calm and focused during lessons.

A 360 camera will open up powerful possibilities for reflection and collaboration. We can use it to record classroom discussions, presentations, and group activities—allowing students to review and analyze their own work, build confidence, and develop communication skills. It will also help us connect with families and other classrooms around the world, making learning more global, interactive, and inclusive.

A reliable, high-quality laser printer will make it possible to bring student work to life—whether it’s publishing their writing, creating visuals for projects, or printing resources tailored to each learner’s needs. It supports equity by ensuring all students, regardless of their access to technology at home, can produce and engage with professional-quality materials in class.

Together, these tools will help create a more responsive, engaging, and student-centered classroom where every child feels empowered to learn in the way that works best for them.
