Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

These items will help students with sensory needs as well as give them tools for regulation. The students I serve have a variety of needs that include (but are not limited to) needing support with emotional regulation, stress management, and sensory sensitive behaviors.

Giving students tools to support their needs is critical in supporting them as learners.

This year we moved into a larger classroom and have double the amount of students as typical. This gives us more space for sensory equipment, but also gives us a higher need for regulation tools as with higher number of students comes more noise and chaos.
