Sensory Sanctuary

Help me give my students a place to learn and regulate. Create a calming, interactive sensory space with kinetic sand, shape tunnels, and lampssupporting Pre-K autism and English learner students in regulation, exploration, and joyful hands-on learning.

My Project

In my Pre-K autism classroom, every texture, light, and movement can spark connection and calm. Many of my students are also English learners, working twice as hard to understand and be understood. This project will transform our space into a Sensory Sanctuary with kinetic sand and play boxes for hands-on learning, a tent tunnel featuring shapes for visual engagement, and sensory lamps to create a soothing atmosphere. These tools reduce anxiety, increase focus, and support language development through sensory play. With your help, my students will feel safe, stimulated, and ready to learn in a way that meets their unique needs. Your support means more than materials it means belonging for children who often feel overwhelmed by the world around them.
