My Project

We want to create a calm, supportive space for our students at T. School in Southwest Philly- a sensory room! A sensory room is a vital resource for students, especially those with sensory processing challenges, autism, or emotional and behavioral needs. It provides a safe, quiet space where students can regulate their senses and manage overwhelming emotions. With tools like calming lights, soft textures, and interactive equipment, sensory rooms help reduce anxiety, increase focus, and promote emotional well-being. By creating a sensory room at T. School, we are ensuring that every student has a space where they can reset and thrive—supporting their learning, growth, and success both in and out of the classroom. Your donation will directly contribute to fostering a nurturing environment for all students to flourish.
