Help me give my students an opportunity for sensory play! The sensory table will provide the students with hands-on opportunity to play, explore and learn!
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Having a sensory table in our classroom will provide my students with a station where they can play and learn in a hands-on modality.
My goal is to give them a learning center that can help calm their bodies, but also provide opportunities for sensory learning and socializing with peers.
My students all have special needs. Most students with special needs require sensory support, and a sensory table will provide just that. Whether we have water in it, sand, rice or shaving cream, the aprons will help keep my students clean and help them learn and grow.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
