Help me give my students a sensory table and fill it with sand.

My Project

This sensory table will allow my students to explore different materials with their senses and keep the mess contained to one area!

Filling the table with sand and adding different items for the students to discover would make learning fun!

I could add letters, seasonal items, or items related to our current unit of study. Young students (4-6 years old) with disabilities learn best when they are allowed to explore and discover independently. This sensory table will allow them to learn through play by using their senses and it is easily changed and updated throughout the school year!
