My Project
In our Title One school where 98% of students face poverty, I'm seeking support for my IEP students. These fidget sticks, calm tape strips, and chair bands might seem small, but they can make a huge difference. Many of my students struggle to focus early on due to restlessness and sensory sensitivities. These tools offer them a way to channel energy and anxiety, helping them engage better with lessons and classmates. By using these tools, we're aiming to foster better concentration, participation, and confidence, providing a stronger foundation for success.
By integrating these tools, I hope to empower my IEP students to overcome concentration barriers and become active learners.
