My Project

I have been working in a self-contained classroom for 3 years. I work for a title one school and most of my students are from low income families. My classroom consists of Intellectual disability, autism, and behavioral students.

My students love moving, swinging, and looking at lights.

In the classroom setting, I love have time for academics, but also allow them an outlet to get their energy and wiggles out.

Funding this goal will allow my students safe outlet for their sensory needs. I hope to use the Flexible Fluorescent Light Cover Films, Foldable Mini Trampoline, Hammock Chair, and other requested sensory materials to help my students learn the skills necessary for emotional and somatic sensory regulation.
