I teach students with special needs and general education students inside the regular education classroom. My classroom is a very active place! My students are very eager and enthusiastic to find out how, what, and why things work the way they do. The disabilities they face do not hold them back.
Students in my class learn best with hands-on projects that involve an integrated curriculum.
They love science, mathematics, and art, so we try to blend these as much as possible. My students love learning.
Using a STEAM approach in the classroom helps motivate students with activities that they truly enjoy while developing academic skills.
My students love to learn and are excited to do new things! They are always on the move and love lessons that keep them active and engaged. They love to be creative and use that creativity to make new things!
My Project
Students with attention needs often need extra help staying on task during a lesson. I am asking for various fidgets, a wobble seat, chair bands, pencil grips, and a weighted lap pad to help my students keep on task. These small items will go a long way to help my students get the work done and still be able to move around like they need to. They can move around, or move a fidget, and still get all of their work done. Thanks for helping me achieve this goal for my class.
