My Project

The use of variety of sensory materials will meet the diverse needs that our students have in our self-contained classroom. Our students are working hard in the classroom, but the sensory materials can support their learning and keep them safe as their sensory needs can be met. Play doh can be used for their fine motor skills so that they can start holding their writing tools as well as they can feel the texture and use their creativity to make something they imagine.

In our classroom, we have K-5 students which is quite range of grades, but they are children who thrive every day.

As a new teacher, I would love to maximize their opportunities of learning and growing in our classroom.
