My Students
I teach a diverse group of second-graders in a specialized 8:1:1 program at a public school in Brooklyn. My students are inquisitive, creative, and compassionate.
My students are enthusiastic learners that come to school each day ready to learn new things!
The students in my class learn best with the support of visuals, checklists, graphic organizers, technology, and hands-on learning opportunities. Their unique learning needs are nurtured and supported throughout the school year. They deserve a classroom environment that supports all of their educational needs.
My Project
The students in my classroom are supported by the use of sensory materials throughout the day. Flexible seating and sensory breaks help my students thrive in the classroom environment. My students need engaging visuals, activities, and online resources to support learning. Hands-on and tactile materials will help ensure that the needs of all learner are met.

My students will use the included sensory materials and flexible seating everyday in our classroom. Your donation will also provide hands-on and engaging activities to support the learning of all students! My students will be especially excited for all of the hands-on learning that will come from our new magna-tiles!
