Help me give my students a large bean bag, interlocking disc set, marble maze mat, miniature figures for our sand tray, calm down threading board, and liquid sensory tile to enhance their learning experience.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I am passionate about my students and their unique abilities. They are curious, creative, and eager to learn. To support their diverse learning needs, I am requesting a large bean bag, interlocking disc set, marble maze mat, miniature figures for our sand tray, calm down threading board, and liquid sensory tile.
These sensory tools will create a calming and engaging environment, helping students focus and process information more effectively.
The bean bag provides a comfortable space for reading and relaxation, while the interlocking disc set and marble maze mat enhance fine motor skills and problem-solving abilities. The miniature figures for the sand tray encourage imaginative play and storytelling, crucial for social and emotional development. The calm-down threading board and liquid sensory tile offer tactile experiences that help students self-regulate and stay engaged.
My goal is to create a sensory-rich classroom that supports all learners, especially those with sensory processing needs. By providing these resources, I aim to foster a love for learning, improve focus, and enhance social-emotional skills.
My students are special because of their resilience and enthusiasm. Despite the challenges they face, they come to school each day ready to explore and grow. Their diverse backgrounds and perspectives make our classroom a vibrant and inclusive community.
