My Students

My students are young, adventurous, and energetic. They have a lot of personality. They are so lively and have a million stories to tell you each day! I love seeing the excitement on their face as they discover something new throughout the day, or something they discovered outside of school.

Each student brings a different story and level of excitement to our school each day.

As a PBIS school, we try to provide a learning environment that is positive and optimal for each students learning needs. The energy and excitement the students have each day keeps a smile on my face and I get excited to hear their new adventures or stories.

My Project

In grades K-4, energy is a big component of their lifestyle. They are young, adventurous, and energetic. A lot of students need to be up and moving or making sounds to keep their minds from rushing ahead. Sometimes those movements and sounds are distracting to others and not appropriate at times.

Each student has a different need when learning, some require movement that is not always possible and with these supplies, the students that need that movement can discreetly have an appropriate outlet for that energy.

The materials suggested will help "behaviors" be reduced and create a more positive environment for them. A positive environment is a safe environment that allows the student to reach his or her potential and maximal learning.
