These specific sensory items will be used in the classroom for a sensory corner where students can go when they are having a difficult time to help self soothe to be able to return back to baseline.Students with autism suffer from the inability of expressing emotions, and with these sensory toys and inputs it will help them self soothe and be able to have a productive day.
Sensory input is huge for autistic children to learn and grow!
The items listed will be used to set up a corner with a rug and posters to teach emotions and help children work through their daily emotion with various calming toys.
