Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I love that the students I work with try hard to learn and do what is asked of them. The students all have some type of challenge that makes learning harder. Learning does not come easy for most of the students that I work with. Sometimes, they have to put in extra work to learn a task.
I love seeing the light in their eyes when they have accomplished a task.
The students come into the small group setting with all walls down and ready to accomplish the new skills. The wobble stool or flexible seating will allow the students to be able to wiggle while they are learning. The sensory items will help the students maintain focus while learning. The reward items will be given to the students after working hard on task given. The office chair will be used when the students are taking an assessment.
