My Project

The shift from at home learning or preschool learning to kindergarten learning is difficult for many children. Students need to learn how to regulate their emotions, impulses, and focus in order to be successful in the classroom. The fidget chair bands and bouncy ball seats will help our students focus while sitting at their desks doing independent work. These alternative seating choices allow for a little bit of movement, while still sitting still! The weighted lap blankets provide sensory seekers with a calming pressure while they sit at their desks. The sensory tubes, marble mazes, and sensory circles will be provided to students who need to calm their emotions and reregulate to the classroom environment. These tools will make such a huge impact in our classroom!
