it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I'm a special education teacher who wants to do my best to service my students. The sensory toys that I listed play a pivotal role in special education by supporting the developmental and educational needs of students with various sensory processing disorders. These toys are designed to stimulate the senses of touch and sight in a controlled and engaging manner, helping students develop essential skills and manage sensory overload.
Social and emotional benefits also arise frome use of sensory toys.
They offer a non-threatening way for students to explore their environment and express themselves, which can reduce anxiety and frustration. Engaging with sensory toys in a group setting can also encourage social interaction and cooperation among peers, fostering a more inclusive classroom environment.
In conclusion, sensory toys are invaluable tools in special education, addressing sensory processing challenges, supporting motor skill development, and enhancing social and emotional well-being. By integrating these toys into educational settings, educators can create more responsive and inclusive learning environments that cater to the diverse needs
