Sensory Items and Technology for an Inclusive Classroom
Help me give my students sensory items and technology that will create an inclusive and supportive learning environment for students with autism, which is essential for their growth and development
Children with autism often have unique sensory and communication needs. Sensory items, such as a trampoline, a crash pad, fidget toys, and sensory bins, provide comfort and help students focus by calming their senses. Technology, including iPads, will be used as communication devices,to assist in bridging communication gaps and facilitating interactive learning.
By embracing technology and sensory items, we can create a more inclusive and supportive environment for our students with autism.
These tools not only aid in communication and learning but also contribute to the overall well-being of students by catering to their sensory needs. Through thoughtful implementation, schools can ensure that all students have the opportunity to thrive.
