This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are bright, creative, and eager to learn, but they need the right tools to help them stay engaged and express themselves. With your support, I hope to provide them with essential classroom supplies—crayons and glue for hands-on learning and creative projects, and fidget tools to support focus and emotional regulation throughout the day.
In our classroom, art and movement are not just extras—they are key parts of how we learn.
Crayons help my students illustrate their ideas, explore color and pattern, and take pride in their work. Glue allows us to create interactive notebooks, craft projects, and visual supports that deepen understanding.
Meanwhile, fidget tools offer quiet, non-disruptive ways for students—especially those with ADHD, autism, or anxiety—to stay grounded and attentive during lessons. These tools are essential for helping students regulate themselves without needing to leave the classroom.
With these materials, my students will have the opportunity to create, stay focused, and feel more confident in their learning environment.
