My Project
These tools will be used within the behavior specialist's room to help students better regulate their emotions and their sensory experiences so that they can better access their academic skills. Students will work in small groups or individually with the materials to learn new tools and skills to help regulate themselves. The rug will provide clear boundaries for small groups to work within. Inflatable seating discs and lap weights will be used within the classroom setting and in small pull-out groups to increase focus. These items will have such an impact on our small school!
