My Project

Preschool is a big transition for most kids and families. Coming off of a pandemic where they were unable to access many educational resources and hands-on learning has left many students in a period of huge transition. Learning how to learn is a huge step in becoming a well-rounded student. A big hurdle this year is working with these special kiddos to be able to better understand their world around them as they navigate this big change in their lives!

This project aims to help provide my special needs students with sensory integration materials like balance boards, vibration plates, and chew necklaces that will help them process and regulate their sensory systems.

My goal in using these materials is to allow them to take what skills they've developed in a therapy setting and use them in their classrooms!
