My Project

A sensory hallway can help students regulate their emotions, enhance their learning experience, and support their overall well-being in a structured and welcoming environment. Students will be encouraged to learn self-regulation and coping strategies, which are essential for social interactions and building relationships. This type of environment would offer a variety of sensory experiences that will cater to the various needs of our students helping those that may seek sensory input or require sensory breaks. All funding for this project will provide a space for students to calm down and manage their emotions, helping them transition from high-stress situations to a more centered state.

A sensory hallway will help our students improve focus and attention by allowing them to take short breaks, which can enhance their ability to engage in learning after a sensory reset.
