This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

A sensory garden is a carefully designed outdoor space that engages and stimulates the senses, providing a therapeutic and enriching experience. These gardens are thoughtfully curated to offer a variety of sensory stimuli, including sight, sound, touch, smell, and even taste. Creating this space will create an outdoor gardening space where all benefit and can participate.

The student-designed sensory garden will involve learning workplace skills, healthy eating through gardening and harvesting, and promoting inclusiveness on our campus.

For this project, we are in need of some starter supplies like screws, stain, garden beds, and audio and visual stimuli.
