Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As a school-based occupational therapist, I work with students across all grade levels including preschool-5th grade. Many of the students who I work with have difficulties with various motor skills and sensory processing skills.

My pre-k students would benefit from having access to sensory tools to utilize during therapy sessions and throughout their school day.

I am asking for sensory socks, sensory bands, lamps and chew items to help calm and focus my students so they can be ready to learn in their classroom. These sensory resources will be a great way to comfort my students by providing them ways to cope and create a calming environment to address their needs. The sorting dino math activity will help my students with their counting skills.
