My Students

I teach special needs preschool. My students are 3-5 years of age and have varying disabilities. They are enthusiastic learners that love music, art, and stories that help them to learn early academic skills.

They learn best using multiple learning strategies and approaches.

Using hands-on learning experiences helps students to remain engaged and learn new skills. They require visuals to help them learn and understand new skills.

Our school is considered to be an urban school, and most of our students come from low-income families. We appreciate any donations to help our students grow and learn!

My Project

We are asking for materials to help our student's with sensory exploration. My students love to learn through using all of their 5 senses! We need more engaging materials and equipment to help them in the classroom.

My preschoolers use sensory play to help them with language development, cognitive growth, fine and gross motor skills, problem-solving, and social interaction!

With these new materials, my students will be able to continue to learn and grow in all of these areas. We love to do Science Experiments in our classroom. We can use the Wacky Water Droppers to add liquids when we are experimenting, or just for fun in our water table! They will help students with their fine motor skills. We can use the Tilt & Turn Sensory Windows and the Sensory Marble Mazes to help with problem-solving! These will also give the students a chance to work on waiting their turn and sharing! We can use the Texture Brushes for Art Center, where students can use their imagination to create paintings!

Our classroom would be so appreciative to receive these materials. We hope that you will consider helping our classroom continue to learn through sensory exploration!
