My Project

As a school social worker, many students that come to my classroom struggle with sensory, self-regulation, and processing their emotions. My kiddos are truly unique and have some of the kindest hearts!

I would love to create a comfortable environment where they have the ability to calm down and feel safe.

With the light covers, sensory/fidget toys for our calm corner, activity table, and other items on my request, I plan to create a calm classroom environment for my students to take a break and cool down when needed. This will help them to feel comfortable and supported in my classroom so that we can work through big emotions.
