My Students
My students are in special education and attend a general ed preschool class in the district. I provide their specialized programming and supports. This is the first time these students have been exposed to a classroom, and I make sure it is a great experience. My students are cute, small, and excited to learn!
Each year the number of preschoolers and kindergarteners with special needs varies, so this project will be able to help many students in need throughout the years.
My Project
Over the past couple of years, we as teachers have been teaching through a pandemic. Our students have been coming to school with uncertainty, anxiety, and other mental health issues. Our little preschoolers are also experiencing those same things.
These sensory materials will help students focus in class, engage with peers and teachers, and express themselves while trying to fight through other difficulties.
For children with special needs, sensory materials also play the same vital role. Please help me provide for our students. These materials will be able to reach a large variety of students for many years to come. Your donation will not be wasted and the sensory materials will be put to great and daily use.
